Was that Truly Necessary?

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!

After a discussion with one of the guys over the weekend, I discovered for the first time that Eberron has its own planar system.  Not only does Eberron have its own cosmology, it has it’s OWN MATERIAL PLANE.

I know, I know.  Eberron is a world of one-upmanship.  It wants to be good at everything.  If Dragonlance has 3 moons, Eberron has 13.  If the realms has Elminster, Eberron has a league of Super-Duper Elminsters.

But why it’s own material plane?  Why?  Isn’t Eberron good enough on its own?  Is it to promote the product line, to prevent Eberron DMs from buying used 2nd edition Planescape stuff, or, God forbid, switching over to the Realms?

I hate Eberron again.  That’s just plain silly.

Eberron is indeed a piece of crap. They meshed all sorts of crap together and then said

“hey, look a beautiful hodge-podge world of ‘pulp adventure”….try ‘poop adventure’
