Well I am posting from work so I can’t view the videos above…..but I am voting for possibly a decent game but without the flavor of D&D as I know it.

It is the powers and abilities that seem to bother me at this point. Reading through the preview material just isn’t exciting, the flavor is very different and I am not sure I like it.

I have always leaned towards few powers/magic items but the ones you have are good, useful and cool. Powers like “Every time I attack you get +2 to hit for a round” just seems like an attempt to make the 6 year old feel he is doing something “Cooler” than just swinging a sword.

I will try it, the group here is pretty split on moving to 4E or sticking with 3.5/Pathfinder but I am willing to give it a shot.

I’m very excited about it. I’ve had the honor of playing and running some of the preview demos, and they were fantastic. Playing 4th edition feels like playing D&D the way it ought to be.
